Pearl Agarwal
Founder & Managing Partner
Focus Area - FinAI & Consumer AI
Pearl, originally from an entrepreneurial family in Odisha, India, ventured to the US for higher education and earned a management degree from McCombs School of Business (UT Austin). During her studies, she co-founded a finAI startup focusing on trading algorithms. She later worked at UTIMCO ($40B fund of funds) and Merrill Lynch (M&A) before joining GIP, where she managed multibillion-dollar investments across the US and Europe.
Returning to India, she founded DotReview to support early-stage founders. In 2021, she launched Eximius Ventures based on insights gained from conversations with over 1,000 founders through DotReview. In addition, Pearl has made 20+ Angel Investments across India & USA.
Preeti Nellore Sampat

Focus Area - Enterprise AI and Consumer
Preeti was born in Chennai, India. She developed a deep passion for tech growing up, which led her to join BITS Pilani. After graduating with an engineering degree, she worked in transaction advisory for the TMT sectors. Being an entrepreneur at heart, she had always wanted to work at the intersection of tech and product. This led her to join Flipkart early in its journey.
Post this, she moved to the US to get an MBA from MIT Sloan. She later launched a micro-VC fund, Infinite Road, in the US, investing in early stage across Vertical Enterprise AI, Marketplaces and Consumer. Prior to joining Eximius in 2023, she has also co-founded a startup in the India-US corridor.
