Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Product Manager to join our fast-growing fintech startup. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our product strategy. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business development, to ensure the successful delivery of innovative financial products to our customers. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a product management role. A graduation from a tier 1 college is preferred.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap, aligned with the company’s overall vision and goals.
2. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, features, and user stories that deliver exceptional value to our customers.
4. Prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and timelines are met.
5. Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into clear specifications and user stories, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery. 6. Collaborate with design teams to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and experiences that drive customer engagement and satisfaction.
7. Track and analyse key product metrics, user feedback, and market data to drive continuous improvement and optimise product performance.
8. Coordinate with marketing and business development teams to develop Go-to-Market strategies, product positioning, and launch plans.
9. Act as a subject matter expert for the product, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s or Management degree from a tier 1 college.
2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, with at least 1 year in a product management role, preferably in the fintech industry.
3. Strong understanding of finance, banking, or related domains, with a keen interest in financial technology and innovation.
4. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps, from ideation to launch.
5. Proven experience in defining product requirements, creating user stories, and working closely with engineering and design teams.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive product decisions and improvements.
7. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
